Last year, we had to transition homecoming to a fully virtual weekend of events. That's why we are extra excited to bring you home this year and celebrate together on-campus! Check out our homecoming event opportunities below and plan to join us. Please note: all Thursday and Saturday events are family friendly.
6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Trick-or-Treat
Join us for our annual fan-favorite event! Trick-or-Treat through the residence halls and join in some fun activities. It's sure to be a spook-tacular night, and we hope to see you and your "little monsters" there. Check-in is in Alumni Hall. Click here to RSVP.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22
5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. All-Alumni Celebration (21+ event)
The evening will be hosted by President and Mrs. Elsener at the Oriental Garden and Tea House between Doyle Hall and the Michael Evans Center. If it rains, we will relocated to the covered tent (often referred to as the M-Club Champion Zone tent) in the St. Vincent Stadium. Join us for good drinks, hors d-oeuvres, desserts, and good fun on this night!
Alumni tickets are free when registered in advance. Non-alumni guests are $10 if registered by October 3, and $15 if registered after October 4 or at the door.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 23
9:00 a.m. Rosary Walk
Meet fellow alumni and families at the Blessed Mother Shrine and Rosary Walk near Doyle Hall to pause and pray on this special weekend. The event will be lead by alumni volunteer, John Felter '73 and the San Damiano Scholars.
10 a.m. Football Tailgating
Plan to come to the game early on Saturday and tailgate with us before the Knights' knockoff. The Marian University Alumni Association will be hosting tailgates for the decades around the lot for you to reconnect with old classmates and enjoy the (hopefully wonderful) weather.
11 a.m. Campus Tours
Our campus is constantly growing, and we can guarantee it has changed significantly since your time at Marian. Come check out campus with a tour led by Presidential Ambassadors of old and new buildings and reminisce over how things were when you were a student.
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tailgate Lunch
Come tailgate with us! The Alumni Association along with campus partners and friends will be hosting tailgates around the fountain with different food and drink options at each station to share a lunch with you and your family before the game.
An adult lunch is $15 and children 12 and under are $10. MU students may use a dining swipe for access with their student ID. No dining guest swipes may be used at this event. Pre-registration is required—check-in is at the tent outside of Alumni Hall.
1:05 p.m. Knights vs Concordia Football Game
The Knights take on Concordia on Saturday afternoon of Homecoming Weekend and we need your help cheering them on the victory! Tickets for the game are on sale now at muknights.universitytickets.com as well as at the gate on game day. 4:30 p.m. Homecoming Mass (in Memory of Deceased Alumni)

5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. 50th Reunion for the Classes of 1970 and 1971
Congratulations to the Class of 1971 for your 50 year milestone of graduating from Marian! The Class of 1970 didn't have the chance to celebrate last year, and are invited back this Homecoming to celebrate the milestone, as well. Campus tours will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a reception in Alumni Hall at 6 p.m. and sit down dinner with entertainment at 7:30 p.m.
