Becky (Kuhlman) Hiatt is a proud Hoosier, born and raised on the south side of Indianapolis. She graduated from Marian University's College of Arts and Sciences in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in political science. As a student, she worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admission as a student caller and ambassador, providing campus tours to prospective students and serving as a student panelist for recruitment event days.

Becky joined Marian University's Office of Undergraduate Admission in July of 2016 as the Events and Communication Coordinator. In September of 2020, she was promoted to the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Events.

The most important piece of advice Becky would give to a prospective student during their college search would be to trust their instincts. “When you are visiting various colleges, pay attention to the feelings you have while on the campus. Was the campus welcoming? Does the average class size provide you with the individual attention you need to succeed? What activities are there for students to get involved in? If you leave a visit feeling blown away by the campus, the students you talked to, and the faculty/staff you met, this is a good indication that you’ve found your new home!"

For life outside of work, Becky enjoys traveling with her husband, Jack, who is a 2016 alumnus from Marian University's Byrum School of Business. She is an avid-cruiser and tries to visit the Caribbean as much as she can.

"My focus is to enhance each prospective student's experience when they visit Marian University. The campus visit plays such an important role in helping a student to find their college fit!”
