It's as easy as 2+2.

The math is simple. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the average weekly salary for a worker with an associate degree was $836 in 2017—a big difference when compared to the $1,173 earned by a worker with a bachelor's degree.

So, if you are an Ivy Tech Community College graduate who wants to strengthen your long-term earning potential, our seamless, cost-effective 2+2 Program is clearly a smart choice. And it also keeps your educational expenses and student loan debt as low as possible because you take less expensive community college courses for two years.

How does it work?

Marian University's 2+2 Program is a great option for Ivy Tech graduates.

After you complete Ivy Tech's Associate of Science in Business AdministrationAssociate of Science in Psychology, Associate of Science in Computer Science, or Associate of Science in Human Services (Social Work), you can maximize the credits you've already earned and apply them toward a Marian University B.S. or B.A. degrees in:

When you apply for admission and are accepted by Marian University, we'll transfer a minimum of 60 credit hours from your associate degree toward one of these bachelor's degrees.

You'll be admitted to Marian as a college junior. After two years of courses at Marian, you'll complete your bachelor's degree and graduate after upon finishing your senior year.

  • In general, an Ivy Tech grade of C- or higher is required for courses to transfer.
  • You must have a minimum 2.0 or higher grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale to be eligible. The exception is social work, which requires a 2.5 GPA and grades of C or higher.

Take the next step!

We make admission decisions for transfer students on a rolling basis, so you can apply any time.
