University Scholarships, Grants, and Financial Aid

  • Global Studies minors: If you have a minor in global studies, contact Dr. Pierre Atlas, director of The Richard G. Lugar Franciscan Center for Global Studies, for specific funding opportunities and information about the Gretchen Jane Siedling Donahue ’64 Global Studies Travel Fund.
  • Financial aid: You may be able to use state and federal financial aid to help cover study abroad costs. Once you've selected your program and understand the costs, consult with our Office of Financial Aid.
  • Travel grants: You may be eligible to apply for the McKinney International Travel Grant to help cover your expenses.

Additional External Scholarship Opportunities

  • Gilman International Scholarship If you have a federal Pell Grant, you are eligible to apply for a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for summer, semester, or year-long study abroad programs.These scholarships are competitive and funding is not guaranteed.
