Accreditation

Marian University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association, one of the six regional agencies in the United States that accredit colleges and universities. The baccalaureate program at Marian University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750 Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.

CCNE accreditation ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate and graduate education programs preparing effective nurses by assessing and identifying programs that engage in effective educational practices. As a voluntary, self-regulatory process, CCNE accreditation supports and encourages continuing self-assessment by nursing education programs and the continuing growth and improvement of collegiate professional education.
