Hiring a Marian University Intern

Depending on their major, students in certain academic programs at Marian University are required to have their internships processed through Handshake.

In order for your intern to receive academic credit for his or her work at your organization, please be aware that:

  • When the student requests an internship, you will receive an automated email within one business day requesting that you review and approve the internship experience.
  • Please review the student intern's submission and provide us a comprehensive job description using the form we provide you.
  • Upon conclusion of the internship, you complete a student performance evaluation.
  • Please offer quality feedback, both for the student and for the university so we can better support our interns in the future.
